First time Outsurance drops me in more than 15 years
Called Outsurance a while ago to get a life quote. Now their TV adverti*****ts CLEARLY STATES that they do NOT NEED BLOODTESTS to be done and yet my Application for Medical AND non Medical was DECLINED due to the fact that I have not had a Cholesterol test done the past 12 months.
I find this EXTREMELY disturbing, that ONLY because a Cholesterol test WAS NOT DONE-------

26 Apr 2022, 16:28Good day Willie,
Further to our private response, we can confirm that Siya our life manager contacted you to address your concerns. Siya discussed the underwriting in detail with you and we can confirm that the cholesterol test wasn't the reason for the decline.
As per our T's and C's, no medicals or blood tests needed for qualifying clients for life policies up to R3 million.
We do apologise for the disappointment.
Regards,
OUTsurance
