fast processing of insurance claim

My TomTom was ****** from my luggage at cape town international airport. Although I am insured with outsurance, I had not listed the TomTom specifically as part of the policy. I thought to call them in any case and was told that since I dont have it insured, I would not be able to claim. The agent I spoke with would however try to get the claim processed as a once-off, with the full understanding that I would not be able to claim for anything not specifically listed under out and about section. I was happy and it was processed without delay - the max value of R1500 and I got the new TomTom delivered today. Great and fast processing by a very helpful agent. They went out of their way to assist which was great. <br> Call me a pessimist, however, I received a txt message from them saying that as a result of my claim, I'm losing my outbonus of R4,900... now I wonder... Did they approve the claim (even before i submitted the police case number) because they were helpful, or because they would save themselves R3,400? I should just be grateful!
