Failure to cover motherboard failure on iPhone X

Recently, my iPhone X (1 year old, no visible damage - basically still brand new) failed to switch on. The first idea was to research the problem i.e. battery fault or motherboard issue etc. So, we contacted are insurance company (Outsurance) for a claim of a repair or replacement. This phone was insured for R16 000. Outsurance's repair contractor then picks up my phone and inspects it at there workplace and the problem turned out to be that the motherboard failed, on a brand-new iPhone! To my disgust, Outsurance does not cover for these repairs - yet I did absolutely nothing to damage my device. We pay a hell of a lot of money on insurance of our valuables with Outsurance per month and then they tell me that they can't do anything. I'm very angry as this is a great phone which I really loved and it had an uncontrollable problem which means that unless I can fork-out R12 000 for a repair via the iStore, I will be stuck with my spare phone for the foreseeable future. I'm disgusted!
