Failsurance is useless and so are their service providers

I have a policy with Outsurance and due to storm damage late last year, had a light pole fall over in my yard, breaking the lights as well. Logged a claim with Failsurance, paid my excess and had a service provider come through and weld the pole back. Fast forward a few months later, another storm knocks the pole over again. Called outsurance complaining of shoddy workmanship and insisting they send someone else out. Another service provider pitches and says the pole should never be welded but be bolted. Outsurance then insists that the original service provider must conduct the repair as he was paid the excess. I've been patient for the last few months but cant keep calling the service provider weekly and getting a today/tomorrow story for Bheki at BES projects. I pay my premiums, paid my excess and have been exceptionally understanding but waiting 6 months for a simple claim to be sorted is madness. Whats worse is that due to "2 claims", my premium was increased. Outsurance, I am over you.

Good day,

We were obviously very concerned with you complaint and the bad service delivery.

Cardo our claims manager contacted you to apologise for the bad experience and the delay on your claim. The pole was subsequently replaced and you were happy with the outcome.

We do apologise for the bad experience.

Thank you,

Kelvin
