Extremely Poor Customer Service from Outsurance - Their claim for Awesome Customer Service is not true!!!

In July I posted the following: "Extremely poor customer service from Outsurance. A motor vehicle claim that I logged on the 7th of May 2021 with Outsurance and to this day the claim is not finalised. Outsurance insists on getting the car fixed even though parts are not available in South Africa and there is no full ETA for parts availability from the car manufacturer. I am going for a 3rd month paying for a car I do not have in my possession To top it off, I also pay for the car insurance!!! What a disappointing service and the arrogant behavior I receive from both the Claims and Clients Liason management team. No continuous update, I have to always follow up to get feedback and to also get the car rental renewed which by the way they initially told me they will not pay for a car rental due to parts being on back order. Now they have been renewing every Friday for a week and now until 28 of July whilst they are fully aware that only 1 part will be available early August with no ETA for other parts for the car to be fully fixed. I am extremely disappointed considering the high premium I pay and the adverti*****t claims of best customer services from Outsurance. "

It is very disheartening to report that my claim is still not finalized to this day. The rental vehicle has been extended week after week and and not extended long enough to provide me peace of mind. I always have to beg and make prior arrangements when I have to travel as the car hire is renewed week after week. I received a notification from the panel beater that the last 2 outstanding parts from Mazda that were supposed to be delivered on the 15th of November, have again been delayed and are expected on the 30th of December 2021. I was informed by the Consultant that there will be a Management Meeting on Friday 12 November 2021 regarding my claim. To my shock, the Consultant informed me that Management have decided that the panel beater must install the old parts from the accident and then hand over my car and then I must take the car back for another set of repairs when the remaining parts are received. I am being treated like a Consumer without car insurance. I am tired of paying for a car not in my possession for 6 months and still going. I have paid over R40k on a product I do not have. I want this car to be written off, full stop!!! Outsurance wants me to use a car that is fitted with parts from an accident as they do not want to write it off. It has been 6 months of stress and too much inconvenience. I am tired if begging Outsurance for a better customer service. Now mine and my family's safety will be compromised as they do not want to write off the car. I am not comfortable accepting a car I know has not been fixed 100% and parts that are supposed to be replaced replaced have not been replaced.

I am tired of begging for an Awesome customer service that you claim to have on every advert and when you sell new products. I am tired of paying for a product not in my possession. To top it off, my car insurance was increased by a whooping 24% whilst I do not drive the vehicle, it has been with the panel beaters from May 2021. I called to ask for a review and I literally was told to go away.

I am tired of this pain and stressful experience that Outsurance has brought to my life. I need this car to be written off so that I can move on with my life.

I just received an email from Asanda that I must go and collect the car and they are not listening to my complaint.

Hello Patience

We are sorry the repair process has been stressful. The back-order on the parts is of course a major frustration which we sadly have no control over.

Several discussions between us and yourself have taken place during this time and we provided you with a rental vehicle all this time. Although the vehicle is currently fully drivable and safe, we do understand your discomfort about our decision to release the vehicle to you and collect again after the parts have arrived. The parts we are waiting are the door trim and fender cover.

We are therefore arranging for a report and a meeting with the assessor. The intent is for you to  see the work done, go through the repairs and have peace of mind.
We will provide you with an update on Monday.

Regards
OUTsurance

Hello Patience

Thank you for your response.

Several discussions between yourself and us have taken place regarding the parts which are on back-order. it is of course frustrating, but we sadly have no control over this.

The vehicle is totally safe to drive, as the only two parts outstanding, are one door trim and fender cover.
We provided you with a rental vehicle all along,

Our claims manager, Gina contacted you and advised you that we are arranging a report and a meeting with the assessor.
She explained that the intent is for you to see the work done, go through the repairs and have peace of mind.

As arranged, we will call you again  on Monday and provide you with a further update.
