Extremely high increase on premium - 25.4%
Good day,
I am extremely unhappy with the amount by which Outsurance is increasing my premium with effective 01.10.2017. It is a total increase of 25.4%!!! this is ridiculous and there is no way I can afford this. You are now forcing me to look for alternative insurance cover.
I phoned and tried to get this amended, only to be told that my premium is increasing by so much due to non payments over the last period, but I cannot see why this is affecting the increase as I was NOT covered for the period during which there was no payments made and I also didn't have ANY claims recently!
If you cannot revise this amount to something more affordable, I will definitely be cancelling my cover.

We are not insensitive about the adverse effect the unpaid premiums had on your annual rerate.
The latter however is a consideration about rerating a client's profile.
You have since cancelled your cover, which we are sorry about and wish you all the best.
