Excess Payment
Received a quote from PG Glass to replace my car's windscreen. It will cost me R1500 cash. I then contacted Outsurance and found out that if I decide to make a claim, I will end up paying an excess of R1180! What is the point of paying R659 each month for years and years if I might as well just pay for it cash! I am seriously considering changing my car insurance provider. Also terrible service at call centre.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Prescilla our client services manager contacted you to discuss what had transpired on the call. At sales stage the excess was discussed with you and then the excess increased at re-rate stage which was emailed to you. Prescilla managed to give you a better excess as well as a reduced premium.
