Essential Cover From Outsurance

OUTSurance sold me a so called essential cover, I had an accident, from that essential cover, when it's time for payout, they minus 40% off from the retail value of the car. Imagine getting out R30 000 from a 2014 i20 Hyundai? Go for Outsurance at your own risk.

Reviewer Update
Why sell such a cover? Had I known I would not have taken such a cover. How then do you expect me to find another car worth R30 000 when I took out a loan (that I'm still paying for) for the car? So mad.

Hello Francinah

After having received your alarming review, we received feedback from our claims manager.

The essential cover was not explained accurately. Although the cover limits were discussed, which you agreed to, our advisor assured you will be fully covered  for accidental damage if the vehicle is being written off. Based on this, your claim was settled in full.'
The service transgression is viewed in a serious light and will be treated accordingly.

You have our apologies once again for the huge inconvenience and frustration.

Regards
The OUTsurance Team
