Do not be fooled by outsurance with their "no medicals" scheme

I wanted to take out a life insurance. First, the first person who helped me (asked me all kinds of questions which was not a problem), he wanted to speak to the family member, we struggled to get a hold of her and I asked him can het call me the next day at a 10h00 for a conference call. He never came back to me and put on the system that I am no longer interested, which I never said. I called yesterday to hear what's going on and a lady helped me. This morning (19/09/2024) she called back to say that I was approved (they picked up that I was diagnosed with IBS on this specific date last year and also this year). I asked her how does she know my personal medical information. I never EVER consent that they can go through my personal medical history. My medical history is between me and my doctor, which is very personal (personal for everyone). If outsurance asked me specifically, may we go through your medical history, I would have said no problem. But to go behind my back and do this without my consent is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I cannot believe outsurance did this to me and I have been with them for years with my car insurance. That thing that they say "no medicals", is BS. Do not be fooled, do not make my mistake, do not take out life insurance with outsurance. Now I have seen their true colors.
