Distasteful and horrific experience - OUTSURANCE

I have been a loyal client with outsuarnce for more than 8 to 10 years without a claim in my name. In March 2020 the worst happen where all of my electrical items were struck by lightning. I submitted the claim through APP, i received a call and detailed information of the incident was captured and the claim was processed. This was in the first week of March. To date i have not received those items, what i get from Outsurance is total silence. By the way they are still debiting my account for contents which are not there, they are not even ashamed. to do so. Now i have to deal with their mischievous partner who asks ridiculous questions. I am dissappointed and angry, what a distasteful and horrific experience. Two months has passed and there is nothing happening and Outsurance stay there quite as mice and watch their partner ( Hi Fi Cooperation/ incredible connections - Rivonia) play hide and seek and have the oudasity to ask how were payments made. Outsurance doesn't deserve the loyalty that they are receiving and they are the worst insurance company i have ever come across. I want those items.

Hi Mmoni

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint and extremeley worried by the lack of feedback and assistance you describe.

Our claims team have at all times been courteous, following up with our Service Provider and updating you with your claim. Hifi Corp our Service Provider has also been in contact with you regarding your claim and explained the reasons behind the delay.

·  You registered your claim with us on , a quotation was requested, and duly supp****.  ·  The quotation was approved and sent through to HiFi Corp on the 9th March 2020.·  You paid the EXCESS of R750 on the 17th March and HiFi Corp Head Office sent through the order to be processed. ·  HiFi Corp could not issue a TV as your licence was not up to date.

On the 26th of March the government imposed a national lockdown which resulted in restrictions in business operations for our Service Provider.
As per recent communication with you, our claims team advised that you can either wait for the lockdown restrictions by GOVERNMENT to allow retailers and service providers to sell, replace or deliver Televisions;
Request a cash pay-out from OUTsurance as your insurer to the value approved,  OR
Request a gift card which you can then redeem for a Television of your choice within that value from any HiFi Corp Store.

We completely understand how you feel and very sorry for the experience and inconveniences.

Regards
OUTsurance
