dissatisfied with outsurance

I purchased a Ford eco sport titanium in October 2016. I joined Outsurance in October 2016 as well. Deductions commenced in November 2016, which was R1657-00. On the 02 December 2016, the car was in the parking lot at Mercantile Hospital, I noticed scratches on the car. I phoned Outsurance as the insurance covered scratches and dents. They then informed me that they do not cover scratches and dents. I then informed them I am not satisfied as they did say this was covered, I said I would join Miway. I received a quote from Miway and phoned Outsurance to say that I am going over to Miway and that Outsurance must stop deducting from the 25 December 2016. I was involved in an accident on the 16 December 2016. I phoned Outsurance as I assumed I was still covered with them up until the end of December 2016. They stated that I'm not covered on their system as I said I am going over to Miway. I then reported to the Ombudsman to take on my case but the Ombudsman said I must leave Outsurance to continue deducting the monthly instalment as they are liable to repair the car or pay back the money. Outsurance continued deducting the money until July 2017. In August 2017, I received an sms from the Ombudsman stating that my case is closed. There was no explaination as to why the case was closed or what the response was from Outsurance. I then phoned Outsurance to stop deducting as they were not doing anything about my car. I then decided to let the bank sell the car as it was not repaired and I was paying for damaged car. Absa bank took the car in November 2017.
