DISSATISFACTION WITH OUTSURANCE:
Without Any Prejudice.
Reference is made to the above-mentioned subject.
Firstly, I was so astounded with certain claim advisors Mr Mzi, Mr Brandsel and Mr Tshikotshi in the way they represented OUTsurance in most instances.
As a client I have never in my life experienced so much frustration and inconvenience with service delivery.
At one stage I was requested to translate policy information for several years back for the advisor. Your one advisor informed me initially that only their preferred Motor dealership(s)’ could be used for ‘Substitute’’ car quotations. This made me very suspicious because he was adamant that I use that specific Motor dealership.
(My suggestion is that a formal investigation must be considered with regard to this by OUTsurance Superiors)
Ultimately the Dealership where I had bought my 2 cars from previously was at the end of the day considered by OUTsurance. The Motor Dealership I chose was ‘’essentially cheaper’’ than the preferred dealership(s) of OUTsurance. I was asked several times to rather consider the OUTsurance ‘favoured dealership’ and he will ensure that I could get the car in a very short period of time to finalize the claim. This one advisor further went on to promise me that he can do the ‘smash and grab’ separately from a given quotation.
They as representatives of OUTsurance left out the ‘smash and grab’ as part of the initial quotes with their ‘’favoured’’ dealership (s). I had brought to their attention that this was not included on their initial quotations.
Numerous mistakes were made on the claim administration by OUTsurance. I repeatedly asked for a directive on ‘’ Substitute’’ claim settlements and the advisor(s) response was in the end “This Directive is not for Public Viewing”. This infuriated me further. The advisor(s) failed to send me what I asked for and continuously sent back my own schedule policy that I had with OUTsurance. I cannot understand how they could not provide a Directive outlining benefits of a substitute car and any other relevant information in order for me to be in a position to make an informed decision………..
My car was ****** on 7 September 2018 and I was never involved in an accident. On 1 October 2018 correspondence was sent from OUTsurance to the Bank (Motor Finance)
I was so surprised when I read the Official OUTsurance correspondence that was sent to the Bank Manager that my ‘’****** car’’ was all of a sudden in an accident ………. The Team leader declared to the Bank in writing that the car was ‘’Uneconomical to repair and all outrageous nonsense ………was specified ‘’ these are utterly disturbing and in my opinion gross negligence by OUTsurance. Should this be vice versa and I gave falsified information as a client to any Insurance Company or Bank, this would be ***** and would amount to an investigation and possible arrest?
Is this how OUTsurance treats and handle administration for clients? I would like to know if these individuals as OUTsurance advisor(s) going to be reprimanded for giving incorrect and falsified information in writing?
My car was ****** and I had to deal with a lot of inconvenience and dealt with all due respect even with some ‘’advisors that cant advice themselves’’
In conclusion I would like to say that I am overall so disappointed and disgusted with OUTsurance.
