DISSAPPOINTMENT AT THE WAY THE CLAIM IS BEING HANDLED
I submitted a claim on the 24 April 2023 for damages to all 4 of my rims on my vehicle. I did send all photos and videos as per the claim. I get a call from the assessor who advises me that he will only pay for 1 Rim which was not the bad one and the shock, which I explained to him that I am claiming for damages for all 4 rims. I did advise them to have a look at the video and he says that all my rims could not have gotten damaged at the same time. I did take the vehicle to Tyger WHEEL and Tyre and the person did assess my rims and tyres and he gave me a quote and also told me all where damaged. He told me that they don't do shocks, so I took it to Durban Auto Centre and they have given me a quote that all sticks are leaking. I submitted it to Outsurance and they have still come back and told me that it couldn't have been all 4 shocks. The road that I was traveling on you could not see poy holes as there was water on the road and it was at night. The assessor can contact Suveer Reddy at Tyger WHEEL And Tyre and check with him as he physically saw the vehicle with the damages and they work with tyres and rims so they will know. I am very frustrated customer.
