disregarding clients instructions and wishes

my mom had a claim and her vehicle was written off. We then opted for the option to keep it and take it to our panel beater of choice. now she receives an sms saying a service provider has been appointed. now that's not what the agreement was. that's a breach on outsurance side. can someone please account for this. I sent the former to the assessor vandalism Gilbert and now this!!!
