Dishonesty of the Assessor of Outsurance.
Outsurance is very unreliable insurance I have a claim that’s been going for over a week the assessor is just bringing up stories every time the claim has to be finalized. I insured my two phones which where inside my handbag when it was snatched during the process of the claim the assessor called me and said she’s going to send a consent form which after I sign it the claim will be finalized, because that consent form helps her to verify the ITC numbers of the blacklisted phones at Vodacom, after a few days I call to check on the status of the claim she says I have to call Vodacom and ask for itemized billing to speed up the process after she said If I sent the consent form the claim will be finalized.
I called Vodacom and asked them for itemized billing they were even shocked why does an insurance company want that it’s too confidential, the insurance has to just verify the ITC number blacklisted on the phones and phone numbers.
After that I called the assessor she came with another story that the car premium was not payed, I then told her that what she’s saying is nonsense because how does the car premium affects the cellphone insurance while the premium of the cellphone was paid and it’s not my fault that the premium wasn’t paid because they the one who did not debit. The assessor is just coming up with stories they don’t want to replace my phones, it seems as if these assessors get bonuses or commission if they fail the claim.
It is unfortunate to see both claims produced challenges for you.
Our assessing manager contacted you and discussed the detail with you. Thank you for your understanding.
Our assessor has subsequently discussed the settlement amount, after the unpaid premium as well as excess have been deducted. Our client care department will arrange a call to you to update your policy.
