Dishonest Outsurance
After 16 years of being with Outsurance i get met with a monthly premium that is almost double what a competitor is charging. Their senior advisor was not able to explain why. Guess it is to cover all the advertising costs. So i decides to Changa Dai Ding. After cancelling my policy on 02 November i expected my prorata refund to be deposited into my account. I called them today and was advised that the refund will only reflect in my account after 30 days since cancellation. This is utterly disappointing considering that every payment for the last 16 years waa done properly and on time. This is certainly not a company that can be trusted and definitely not one that i will refer to any of my family or friends.
Further to our private reply, on receipt of your complaint, our client care manager Riaz has been in contact with you.
He informed you that in order for us to request an immediate payment we would require your bank statement, as per our processes.
You informed him that you were not comfortable with this option and will rather reverse your premium.
We are sorry that we were unable to assist you as per your preference and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
