Discriminating

I am paying a much higher premium now on my car insurance because of the fact that I got divorced. Apparently I am higher risk now being single because as a married woman apparently I had my husband's income and married women stay at home more. I find this appaling as Outsurance does not know the typ of relationship I had, like for instance my husband didn't work for 2 years so where was the extra income? my husband went out all the time and was drunk and high most of the time while driving my cars that was insured through Outsurance. So please tell my how I am not better off divorced? How can you decide that a married woman is less risk without even knowing the type of relationship she had?
