Disappointed But A Loyal Client
I am a client for more than three years. 2 months prior to my 3 year anniversary a party bumped into my drivers side mirror, as he was on the wrong side of the road. I did bring this to Outsurance's attention and claimed from the other party. I did not claim from my own policy and therefore received my Outbonus. Outsurance did a rerate , as they usually do each year, and my premium increased by more than what i was paying at the start of my policy(3 years ago). I queried this and Outsurance said there is no way to reduce it due to the stats of this incident (This statement came from a manager). So what about the stats of the car depreciating each year? I had to increase my excess to reduce my premium. Today i noticed a faint chip on my windscreen. I called Outsurance and selected the claims option. Anonymous from the claims department told me that there is no guarantee that this will affect my next rerate. So what about my safety? We drive on roads that is ongoing with construction and road works. Should i worry about my premium increasing the next time due to 'stats' of me fixing a chip?
Hello Anesh20
We are very sorry we made yo feel as ud we don't care about you!
Candy contacted you and discussed why we cannot offer you a reduction at his stage. Thank you for your understanding.
She also confirmed submitting a claim for a chipped windscreen, has no effect on the OUTbonus, neither will it affect the annual rerate.
