debitorder openend on unconfirmed transaction

I was inquiring about motor insurance and spoke to TRYVOLTER MANKU on the 7th of February.
After giving my bank details, I immediately knew that I made a mistake and even mentioned it to him.
Specifically informed him that I was still shopping around and that it should be ONLY A QUOTATION!

Disregarding my request he put it through as a confirmed transaction and put a debit order through.

I was really so alarmed by this that I immediately wanted to warn everybody I know and not know against Outsurance.

I expected it to be a long and dreadful experience to convince them that it was a mistake and that they should cancel the policy and that I never want to hear from them again. Started thinking about going to the Consumer Council!

Fortunately they IMMEDIATELY reacted to my shocked e-mail.
SAMMY LITTLE was an amazing person who immediately acted on the query and immediately put it right!
There was no arguing involved and she did so much more expected of her.
She also brought down the monthly rate and explained in AFRIKAANS, all the necessary detail.

When there is important transactions to be done, it is very important to be helped in your own language.
