daylight *******
I'm very unhappy about the way my claim as a loyal client were handled, it felt like daylight *******. My wife lost her wedding ring and after I submitted my claim Outsurance only wanted to pay out half of the insured value. How can this be fair business practice? my premiums were calculated for the insured value but the claim settlement is half the insured value??

13 Dec 2024, 12:33Good day Lionel,
Further to our initial private reply, we can confirm that the matter has since been settled.
A valuation certificate is required for items insured with a value more that R25000.
We have settled as per the replacement value.
Regards,
The OUTsurance Team
