Couldn't beat quote but refuses to pay R400

Outsurance makes such a big thing about paying people R400 if they can't beat your current insurance premiums rate, but they are ********. I received a call from Outsurance and told them that I am happy with my current insurance and don't want a quote from them, but they persisted and I was eventually referred to Elisha who wasted a full 45 minutes of my time getting all my details and then gives me a quote that is almost double what I am currently paying for insurance. I then ask him about the R400 and he asked me to forward my policy schedule and he will ask his manager to sort it out for me. I forwarded the schedule, but this morning he phones me back to tell me that the R400 only applies if I phone them and not if they phone me. What load of ****. Bottom line is that they could not match or beat what I am paying. I guess this is how they treat their clients when it is time to pay also. I'm glad that they couldn't match my quote. I'm just disappointed that I wasted 45 minutes that I will never get back.
