Contract ammended without permission

I phoned Outsurance and spoke to Elsie Thobejane at Outsurance Life, she supp**** me with a Life quote that was doubple my current premiums, i told her i need to first check the contract before commiting to this high premium, 10 minutes later Marcell Gimsell phoned me and asked why my personal cover was ammended and the home insurance cancelled, then i had to answer their 20 questions for my contract to be re enstated, then i flipped my lid and requested info of the Ombudsman, the audit trail of the contract to who changed my personal cover, he spoke to his manager and then said a complaint was logged on my behalf. At present i am still awaiting the info i requested but did get a copy of my personal cover. This exercise wasted an hour of my precious time, created undue stress and is unfair if not contacted by Marcel and something happened to my property. I require some explination.
