Con artist company
<p>This is the worst insurance company to do insurance with. I signed up for life cover with them, I got a better deal somewhere else and subsequently cancelled the policy with Out Surance. Even thou I cancelled they still deducted my money, then after querying they said i must wait a whole month for the money to be refunded. The cherry on top is they will pay me back less then what was deducted, they say "it was for the single day that the poliscy was active" WHAT?? In the past i did quotes with them, they dodged that "free" R400 so quick, the consultant just put the phone down knowing I will query about the R400. If you check the ads on tv you will see that the "quotes" they give is way less than what they will give you when you phone. This is a horse manure company... I will never go with them. SO GLAD I CANCELLED</p>

UPDATE: So, after I spoke to the consultant requarding outsurance paying me less back, The consultant called me back about 10 mins later and said that he queried it and they will pay me back tomorrow (11.04.2017) I will wait and see if it will be happening. Then, I came here to Hello Peter and wrote the review. Then OutSurance PR team called to see how they can help. All good an well, but I still think that they should find a better way to return customers money and not have to wait a month according to their timeline. Its quick for them to withdraw your money but its a real bummer to get it back. Also, Outsurance management should make a calls to their helpdesk, especially when you need a refund and see how they send you from pillar to post for assistance. When a quote is required., the right person is always on the phone. When you need a payment returned, no one can really assist, so the send you around. I CALLED THEM LAST MONTH FROM THE 13th and just gave up hope. Some said it will payed out the next day, some said I must wait a month. One gave me this bogus email address to send an email to, to which no-one rep****: ********** SO MY RATING REMAINS 1 star.
