Comprehensive cover but no third party claim? Claim number: ***

So I was involved in an accident with an Outsurance client Charmaine Jacobs ID number ***. She skipped the stop street and drove right into me. I bought this car as a none runner and fixed it up in order to sell it. I spent all my savings on this vehicle and eventually had it in tip-top condition , advertised it for R 79 000.

On the day of he accident I showed the car to a prospective buyer when Charmaine drove into me and car was written off. She told me that she was an Outsurance client and I will not have any problems having my car sorted. She boasted that she had this comprehensive cover that covers 3rd party claims as well. I sent my claim to Outsurance and needless to say never heard from them for settling my claim which had this so called comprehensive 3rd party claim cover. I see many ads on TV of how much people save by switching and saving ,,they call it Sha Sha,,, Cha Cha but i call it KHA LHA insurance. STAY AWAY!!! . These people do not honor 3rd party claims bunch of ******.

I cant sell or fix the car and when i went for an interview with the car I was laughed at by the interviewer and he joked about the condition of the car and said that he hoped that i do not work the same way as the car looks. I do not think the intention of these people are even to settle claims. i was asked to send my claim forms with many affidavits and pics to have this claim settled. After I sent it the first time I was told they never received my papers and was told to send it again. The only reasonable conclusion that I can get to , is that they ask you to send all these papers to a mail box that is capped with limits on incoming mail attachment with the intention of not settling these claims. Did I say they sound like a bunch of ******? They have all these ads on tv on how much people can save , but whats the use you save money on premiums when 3rd party claims or claims are not honored? Then Charmaine went to the police station and made a false statement which actually blamed me for the accident, when SHE skipped the stop street. This is perjury which is a ******** offence. - The ******** Procedure Act 56 of 1955 and South African common law ********ize perjury, which can be defined as making a false statement under oath or you are caught lying to the police. Before the accident I could sell my car for about R80 000. This car is now worthless to me and thank you Outsurance for ruining my life where it is now even impossible to get a job with the condition of my car. Whats the use of advertising that you save money on premiums when you cant even settle a simple 3rd party claims? I needed to say that again... NOT IMPRESSED, and i will be posting further on social media. I study IT and it will be interesting to see how powerful social media really is. Third wave? If there is a positive outcome to this matter then i will post updates on Hello Peter. Excellent forum and thank you being the voice for us for bad service.

Hello AJ

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.  We are truly sorry to see it has taken us a very long time to finalise the claim for you.

Our legal claims manager contacted you. Arrangements have been made for the vehicle damage to be assessed. She also explained which documents we still require, which you agreed to sending on to her directly.

We endeavour finalising the claim for you as soon as possible.

Regards
OUTsurance
