COMPLAINT REGARDING CLAIM
My claim was approved by OutSurance, I was given all the information about the companies involved and what my excess will be. They asked me if I was happy and if they could proceed, I said yes and the advisor said that he will send me all the info. Two and a half hours later he contacts me saying that he made a mistake and that the claim isn't valid anymore. I called my broker and she said that this cant be as they don't approve claims then cancel them. She also said that she will check why this has happened. Now I have a new advisor, who told me that they will now send a professional to look at my car????? No answer after 3 weeks no answer from my broker????? It seems that OutSurance are dodging this deal as best as they can.

Our claims manager contacted you an again apologised for the incorrect information our advisor provided you by informing you your claim was approved. This was a premature call to you, as the damage report stipulated the cause for the damage was a result of mechanical breakdown, which is not a covered peril.
We are very sorry about the disappointing outcome of your claim.
