Cheap Insurance equals cheap labor
I was in an accident 12 July 2019. After the original assessment, the vehicle was sent to the service provider, FR Panelbeaters, who escalated the damage to roughly R3000 below the value to have my vehicle written off. Both my front airbags deployed and this concerned me. The information was withheld from me, but due to my persistence I received the information. I requested that the vehicle be written off and an empty promise from the assessor for me to go look at my vehicle and if I want it written off, then it will be materialized in him ignoring my calls until I laid a complaint with their complaints department. Upon speaking to FR Panelbeaters they shared with me how they were instructed to use used parts and attempts to fixed damaged parts to keep it below that value. Since then my vehicle was sent back 2 times to FR Panelbeaters and still after 3 attempts they couldn't fix my car. Instead things that were not even damaged in the accident got fiddled with. Sensors on my vehicle got swapped around and goods got ****** from my car. Again due to persistence my vehicle got sent back for another assessment and the new assessor agreed it was a defective job. A rectification job was ordered with Great South Autobody. My vechile ended up being with them for a month. Interestingly no one was aware of my vehicle being their. No customer details were left with them, no job card, nothing. I enquired after 3 weeks and this is when they realised they had my car. The job went ahead and I still have a defective vehicle. Now my vehicle is losing power and they struggling to align my vehicle properly infront. It is suppose to go back for diagnosis on why my vehicle is losing power. I have forward a massive complaint from start to end and after quoting the CPA requested compensation for the poorest customer service I have ever received in my life. Outsurance complaints manager, Lebohang Radebe would then say to me that giving me a courtesy vehicle was compensation, and a priviledge, not my right according to my policy agreement. I have managed to only get back my excess fee to date. My car is really one big mess. It got tampered with and Lebohang Radebe says there is no proof though in this process the sensors got sorted out by my own mechanical service provider, and Outsurance reimbursed that amount, but it would appear the damage was done to my vehicle as you should remember I haven't really driven my vehicle in the last 3 months. I am starting with review and from here I am taking legal action if Outsurance doesn't come to the party.
