Car not fixed!

On the 18th April there was an attempted theft of my car. The gearlock, gears, ignition, immobilser, anti-hijacking, alarm, cubbyhole, steering wheel and a window was damaged. Waited till the 16 of may to be fixed. Outsurance chose Muks Autobody to do the repairs, I had no say in the matter. When I drove back the car on the 16th I could not get the car to move forward and had trouble getting the car home. (two of their employees also tried to moake the car go forward and had trouble doing so. The car's gearbox is damaged: something they somehow failed to pick up or caused themselves when fitting the gearlock. The gears goes into reverse when it should go to 1st, can't get the car in second gear. I immediately phones them on the 16th when I got home. They fetched the car back. They tested it and told me it is not damage but the gears are working fine. I keep saying it is not working and they just refuse to understand. Is this their idea of working! So from working perfectly that day till now not working at all and no-one thinks it was damaged in the attempted theft? The car's gears was perfect when I drove up to,the day of the accident. Even their employee, Milton, who returned the car yesterday said he told his supervisor there is something wrong and they refuse to acknowledge it and that I should come back on Monday (don't know how) and talk to his supervisor. We tested the car yesterday while he was waiting. THE GEARS ARE NOT WORKING! Further more i gave them instruction about things that they did not do properly. They said they fixed it all! They did not! There is a hole cut around the new gearlock that is not fastened around it so you can actually see right through the opening , the steering wheel is upside down, the ignition is not closed with a cover around it, they cannot prove the immobilser is working again and clearly can't/won't test it. This is the *********** people that Outsurance chose to fix my car. Outsurance refuse to believe me and tell me I must get a second opinion myself. They refuse to fix my car the way it was. a|Furthermore there was what looked like a computer motherboard that was removed by the ******* and laying on the back said, when I asked them if it was put back and working they were not sure, only said it "must have been"? Bottom line is the car is undrivable, got terrble service from both Outsurance and Muks and now what?

You have been without your vehicle for a long time, and to make matters worse, all damage was not attended to.

You have our sincere apologies for the huge inconvenience and frustration you experienced.

Our assessing manager investigated the reason for the exclusion of additional repair work. The latter was a result of our service provider stating the relevant items were not damaged as a result of the incident claimed for, although our assessor did make provision for repair at the time.

Ataniel from our claims department has since provided you with a further update and assured you of commitment of having the outstanding finalised for you as soon as possible.

Thank you for the further opportunity you have afforded us to finalise this for you.

Regards

Dinky

Best regards,
