Call Centre consultant insisting on me providing my ID number and personal info for a puppy insurance quote
I have sent through an online request for a quote on pet insurance for my family puppy. I have explained to the consultant that I do not want to provide my personal info as I am probably not going to be the main policy holder and I am only inquiring about the cost and benefits so I am able to make an informed decision as I am shopping around. The consultant then advised I am unable to provide my personal in (ID number specifically), consultant then proceeded to call his manager for further assistance. The Manager then advised the same and that the will not be able to assist. I was also asked numerous times as to when I would like to start the policy, today or on the first of the month??? This left me so confused as I have not been informed on any benefits or plans available for my pup but I need to commit to a policy start date??? Not sure I want to deal with any of your sale hungry consultants as this has been a horrible first experience.
