Bullying innocent people.

Today I have realized that OUTsurance is the most *********, bullying company out there. My 20-year-old daughter, who is a student and not working, was in an accident with a person who is insured with OUTsurance. The fault was of the OUTsurance client, and the driver admitted it on the day of the accident (These stories always changes after the fact).

We submitted a claim on her insurance at OUTsurance, but it was denied simply because the client "said" it was not her fault, no evidence, nothing, she just "said so".

As my daughter is a student, she cannot afford to fix her own car and decided to still try and do the claim and we wanted to present evidence that their client was at fault yet, OUTsurance simply denied the evidence without considering any of it. We then decided not to continue fighting this as it was not worth the effort. That was until last week on the 8th of June, when OUTsurance, specifically a legal recovery agent named Thelma Mnguni contacted my daughter claiming an amount of R11 000.

She specifically said to the agent that she cannot pay for something that was not her fault, where on the second a phone call on the 12th of June, the agent contacted her again, suddenly claiming that the amount would escalate to R24 000 by the 13th if she did not make an arrange. The agent then proceeded to start making up monthly repayment amounts just to get her to acknowledge the debt. At the same time, she also confirmed with the agent that their client deliberately blocked her on all platforms, and she was unable to negotiate or have any discussion with their client. The agent proceeded to make her acknowledge the debt, and within minutes sent her an email with a PDF file.

Now, if OUTsurance thinks that they are the law, they have a surprise coming for them: 1. No one at OUTsurance has the right to assume that the fault is that of someone without refutable evidence. 2. Even if you did, you cannot demand monthly amounts to a student, who does not have a job.

We have requested the telephone conversation recordings for both the 8th and 12th of June. The recordings, as well as all the evidence for the accident not being her fault will be sent to the ombudsman for investigation. We will re-submit the claim for her vehicles damage to OUTsurance, through the help of a legal representative this time.

My fair warning to you, OUTsurance. You will not bully innocent people with your small talk, we know our rights and will not be intimidated by your "corporate" scare tactics.

I expect the following. 1. Both recordings as requested by my daughter on email in order for us to take this matter up with the ombudsman as well as hand to our legal representative.

Ok, so OUTsurance is replying in private and prefers to take this matter to email, simply to keep their reputation away from public view. So, to anyone reading this, here is the update. OUTSurance is *********** and unable to understand basic photographic evidence and wants to proceed taking a jobless student to court for something she is not guilty off.

Here is what will be happening.
1. My personal policies will be canceled, I refuse to be associated with such a company.
2. We will proceed to get a lawyer for this case. All witnesses as well as photographic images will be presented and once we win this case, we will send a claim to outsurance for the damage to our vehicle. We will thereafter also claim any legal fees from outsurance.

Now, you can reply here as of now and not on email, and keep the messages public.

Hello Gerry

The reason for our initial private reply was to obtain the claim number.

As per our response, we referred the detail to our liability claims manager, Thina, who was in contact with you and explained the reason we are refuting liability. She discussed the merit dispute and confirmed the photos can be interpreted in different ways and do not indicate how the incident took place.

We are not at all insensitive to the consequences this decision has on you. Please don't hesitate to contact Thina directly should you wish to discuss the matter further.

Regards
The OUTsurance Team

No, the photos are interpreted in the way OUTsurance wants it to be. Thina claims " the tire marks can be because of invasive action" yet, the invasive action was towards the vehicle that it was trying to evade?
Thina also claims "the debris can be spread due to traffic and this photos does not provide evidence". We find it strange that all the debris managed to move to the far right lane, when your client claims it was at the yellow lane.

Fact is, you enforced a payment plan onto a jobless student by means off bullying her with threats without any evidence (still waiting in the phone recordings by the way), we provided evidence which you refute because outsurance simply has no professional people specializing in accidents.
