Beware of Outsurance

<p>I logged a claim in 2012 because my house was cracking and after a long fight with them they sent out a builder who suggested they underpin the affected area. The cracks were repaired the same time as the underpinning and later reopened. They sent out an engineer who told them to extend the underpinning and later repair the cracks. After this was done, the cracks reopened. They sent the engineer again who did DPI tests on the affected area and other areas. The cracks were repaired once again and once again they have reopened. Even were there was no cracks before the DPI was done is now cracking. They sent out the engineer for the 4th time and now he says the cracks are only plaster cracks and are normal. You dont need to be a builder or engineer to now the differance between the two and these are not plaster cracks. They are covering them selfs because the diagnosis was wrong from the start. The cracks are all the same ones that were there from 2012 . The underpinning was not extended enough either side of the affected area ,as the cracks are well after where the underpinning stops.Outsurance started the claim in 2012 and now in 2016 after 4 different builders doing the repair work which has not been solved. They tell me the claim is now closed as the cracks are normal plaster cracks. So really they have done nothing then because of all the work over a 4 year period and the cracks are all still there. These are not plaster cracks .</p>
