Be warned about the way OUTsurance collects your information for marketing purposes

WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING OUTsurance

I contacted OUTsurance simply to enquire about house insurance packages so that I could compare their offerings, cover, exclusions, and additional costs with other insurance companies before making a decision.

What immediately concerned me was that before they were even willing to provide basic information, they insisted on collecting my personal details and ID number first. They also requested permission to share my information with third parties and other OUTsurance departments.

The moment I realised how aggressively my personal information was being collected for marketing purposes, I stopped the process. I clearly stated that I did NOT consent to adverti*****ts or marketing communication, and I specifically requested that ALL my information be deleted from their systems immediately.

Despite this:

* I have continued receiving repeated calls from OUTsurance. * My explicit request to stop all communication has been ignored. * I even spoke to a manager named Ralbo, who promised my details would be deleted and that he would confirm this with a follow-up call. That never happened.

This experience has left me deeply concerned about how customer information is handled and whether consent is truly respected. In my opinion, no company should require extensive personal information before even providing general insurance information to a prospective client.

I strongly caution consumers to think carefully before sharing personal information with OUTsurance if you value your privacy and do not want ongoing marketing pressure.

Consumers have rights regarding privacy, consent, and direct marketing, and companies should respect those rights immediately when requested.

Please share so others can make informed decisions.
