Bad service

I called out insurance today as a courtesy to inform them the passing of my wife. I was told to send the death certificate to email provided to me via SMS. Hour or two later I get a call from out insurance which I assume is to close off and cancel her out insurance which is all I wanted to happen. Next thing the lady puts me through to a sales person which tries to transfer the policy to me. I did at first want to consider untill it became pushy from the sales. I indicated that let's just cancel the policy as I'm no longer interested. The sales person still insisted wanting my ID to cancel my deceased wife's policy. I have sent a certified copy . I would like confirmation of the cancellation. You people are so disrespectful in my time of grief.
