Bad service

I was not aware that I still have home contents insurance as I have called it some time ago to cancel it but it was never done if I didn't have called them to ask about my premens I who'd not have noone that I still have it I then said ok see that I have been playing for the house contents the I can claim for my TV that had brok a month ago when the kids broke It was told that because I have thrown the TV away they can't assist me had I know that I have the cover I good have claimed for it then I told them. But thay did not want to listen to my problem I have now cancelled my house contents with them and I didn't think that it is with insuring house contents with them
