Bad second hand parts used to repair a Four year old vehicle one year out of warranty

My vehicle was in an accident two weeks ago and i was told that it will be repaired using second hand parts because the vehicle is one year out of warranty. The vehicle was insured brand new and when taking out the insurance this was never mentioned to me, nor is it stated in the policy. After complaining about this the manager informed me that Outsurance will not change their quote because the policy does not state that second hand parts will not be used. To add to my frustrations the parts delivered were in a much worse off condition then the original parts on my car which by the way is still like new, under warranty or not. If outsurance is entitled to put second hand parts on an out of warranty vehicle why don't they half their premiums once the vehicle is out of warranty. I have been paying the same annually reviewed premiums for the last four years and not once was this mentioned to me. This is an extreme inconvenience as my vehicle has been standing for two weeks not, not touched.
