Bad repair after service

Good day

It's sad that after showing such loyalty to outsurance, it's not reciprocated. I'm not sure who to be upset with more: Outsurance or Olympic Auto Body (Welkom). Every time I require an update on the progress of my car's repairs, I have to make my own calls, which is a tedious process. Last I checked, I'm the paying client, who seems to be begging for updates. The below average level of customer service/post accident service worries me. Outsurance chose a very loosely run auto body establishment for my vehicle's repairs who don't bother to keep their clients in the loop. Repair deadlines seem to be open ended, and no one bothers to keep me updated when there are delays. I reached out to the repair shop directly today, and was blue ticked by Bianca. The last update was after I called a week ago, and was told the car was in the paint shop and diagnostics would be done and if everything goes well, the vehicle would be ready last week Thursday. Haven't heard from anyone since. Can I get some assistance and clarity on what's going on? And can Outsurance/Olympic Auto Body commit to a date and can I get sufficient updates that I don't need to initiate?

Good day Sipho,

Further to our private reply, our client liaison team contacted you to address your concerns.

We understand the claims process has been frustrating for you and we are reviewing the timeframes.

Further additionals have been identified after the vehicle went in for wheel alignment. Mmapuso will keep you updated and ensure that the repairs are completed in a timeous manner.

Regards,
The OUTsurance Team

Reviewer Update
Good morning

Mmapuso from Outsurance has been helpful, but unfortunately things haven't been resolved. My mother picked up the car last week Friday. Turns out there are major electronics issues now. These guys assured us that after their quality checks, all would be fine. That wasn't the case, and I'm not surprised. Sensors don't work, intelligent light system doesn't work, seat belt warning doesn't work. I'm not sure what else I'm missing. They asked her to bring the car back today which is Monday. We can't be doing a back and forth with these guys. Why was the car released with electronic gremlins and warning lights on the screen? I'm not happy. I'm really not. It's been a very unpleasant process and it seems like we are starting a new more painful one. Please advise on a way forward Outsurance.
