Bad advertising

I took out car insurance for a vehicle that I purchased in September 2015. They quoted me R829.21 per month. I accepted the quote as I have not had car insurance for more than 5 years and thought that it will be the going rate nowadays for a 48 year old driver! I also phoned another insurance company and they quoted me R484.04. When I phoned Outsurance back they immediately offered me a discounted premium of +_ R650.00. I then asked but why wasn't I quoted this amount originally and felt very annoyed that all of a sudden they could give me a cheaper quote. I also pointed out to her that I still have a cheaper quote than the R650,00. The telemarketer continue by telling me that I must compare the insurance documents and will find that Outsurance have better options than the insurance company I got the second quote from. So every morning listening to 94.7 promoting Outsurance on the R400,00 cash back, I wonder how many people did actually get the R400,00.
