Awful and horrible customer service experience of note

CLAIM NUMBER ********** 99

Last year on the 09 th November we experienced flooding of our house during the heavy rains. Outsurance appointed 3 service providers to fix our house. AJH Builders to fix structure, IDALA for contents, P & G for our electronics and Vistel for our gate and electric fence. Till this day only painting inside house and replacing of doors was done. Even that job is of poor and horrible quality the doors are not closing, hinges are coming off and doors are about to fall off. Kitchen door is loose and making banging noise when it noise as it not fitting tightly. All this was done by AJH Builders. They sent the breakdown of what they will fix, they will paint my car port wall but nothing is said of painting our house outside as it was water damaged as well the whole yard and house was flooded to the level of waist height of an average basketball player height. Vistel is pushing goal post they not saying anything of fix our electric fence. Idala has only been once to our place no phone call no nothing after that. AJH initially said they will be fixing the built wadrobes and kitchen cupboards now they singing different tune, they say it is not their responsiblity. I NEED OUTSURANCE to sort this out as we have lived in unbearable living conditions for 2 months now.

All this is delaying the flloring of the house which is to be done by Top carpets which is the only company that seems to know of customer service as they phone every week to ask when can they come but they cannot until everything else is fixed.

My next move is to report this to the Financial Services and Insuarnce ombudsman.

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. Lelanie from our Client Liaison department has contacted you to resolve this matter and to also follow up on the service providers workmanship. She discussed the way forward and that the assessor has a meeting set up with you for early next week to get finality on the claim. Sorry for the delay!

Regards, Kelvin
