Avisbudget
I'm very disappointed at the car rental that outsurance uses. They referred me to avisbudget (Vereeniging crossing) after I had an accident. The car rental gave me a car that was almost due for a service, they indicate that I need to return it before 15000 km in order to exchange it for another car. Yesterday after car wash I realised that the was a scratch on the fender. So when I took it to avis this morning they told me that I need to pay another amount as per my excess with the insurance which is R2560, which I don't have because when I pick up the car I paid R2540 for the admin and insurance for the tyres and windscreen. Where will I get another money because my car will be ready soon which I must pay R2560. The car rental really inconvenience me because if they have given me a car that was not due for a service soon I could have return it once my car is ready and they could deduct from the amount that I paid when I took the car. Now I'm without a car because they told me if I live with the one they gave me. They will charge me in breach of their service. I'm not satisfied with the service and honestly I don't see the use of paying a car rental fee with the insurance because there's more money to be paid when you collect a car. There's an admin fee to everything which I don't understand, if you get a traffic ticket you are charged R35o for admin, what if the ticket its 50, you have paid more. Honestly I'm speechless I thought the car was supposed to make our life easy.
