An absolute disappointment
On Saturday 06 Feb, my son was driving out of the Kolonade retail parking lot, when a lady named Yolandi Potgieter reversed into my car damaging the passenger door on the left back. The lady then exits her car apologising profusely to my son, my brother and the car guard. She gives her particulars and upon hearing that my car is insured with Outsurance she makes snyde remarks saying that she works for Outsurance so she won't pay for any damages (her car is not damaged as she has a tow bar at the back of her car, that tow bar made deep bad scratches on my car) nevertheless the incident was reported to SAPS and I called Outsurance to get advise on how to go about claiming but the claim advisor said I should log a claim so they can get the amount for damages, they would then call the other party. Later in the day the assessor called and the process was followed but I kept asking if they called Yolandi because she needed to take accountability. I was told to wait for the legal dept to call as Yolandi Potgieter was not at fault. I'm still waiting for legal. I'm shocked at the arrogance firstly at the way this female Yolandi brags about being an employee of Outsurance but I still thought Outsurance would be professional as I'm their client. Whether she's an employee of the organisation or not , I still expected to be treated with the courtesy of being a client. I tried enquiring but I was told to wait for legal and that the damages are over R11 000 plus excess. I'm still waiting to date...if being an employee of Outsurance outweighs accountability and professionalism to your clients then you shouldn't lie to us marketing your product. I'm in shock absolutely disappointed.
