All fine until you claim
Storm damage to our pool after neighbour's property washed part of the boundary wall down into our pool. Assessor phones and demands to arrive at our properly. No appointment. Just demands he wants to be there now. We are taking our Dog to the vet who was sick. He does not care. He never calls back to re-schedule. We call him to reschedule. Always in a huff and puff with a bad attitude. Arrived an hour and 15 minutes late screaming up the road in an NP200. Does not ring the bell. Calls on this cell saying he is waiting, we say, ring the bell buddy. No apology. Shoves a camera in my face says he is going to record the conversation. So I ask are you telling me or asking me. Massive chip on his shoulder says he will not come in then and drives off. Regional manager Nick calls does not try and assist at all. Tries to blame us - Zero Apology.
Eventually we get to claims, Stephan Kemp calls, says he will bring on Monday his OWN pool people. We don't get a say. Not 3, not 2, 1 company, they have 1 pool company they work with in the Western Cape and to quote Nick and Stephan, the policy wording allows them to do this.
Stay clear of this company. They want quick easy simply claims and when you challenge them they throw the policy wording at you.
As soon as you want your own specialists there they throw policy working. But again, what kind of horrible human being is a loss adjuster. I mean your job is to create misery for people.
We cancelled our policies. All of them. The ads on TV are *** promises. Won't touch this company again. We will repair the pool and wall ourselves and you can stick your out-bonus where the sun don't shine. At least that last bit made me feel good. ;-)
