Agent was rude and didn't want to understand

I requested a quote for life cover, when the agent did call and she advised me on the quote I did tell the agent I want to shop around for quotes before I settle, but the agent kept insisting I take the cover with them, and she kept insisting that other insurance companies quotes weren't better and she asked me why am I looking for pricing not peace of mind, i tried to explain that I have bills to pay and I take care of my little brothers yet she kept pushing until I eventually had to cut the call
