Advertising on TV is a marketing ruse, dont fall for it

After purchasing a car, i was presented with a Quote from Old Mutual, I decided that i wanted to take outsurance on this Hype that they will beat any Quote or pay R400.00 if they could not , i utilized the quote that i received and gave the info over to the agent who called me back Quite promptly. To my shock it was more than Double my existing Quote, The Agent tried to tell me that after i think 3 years i will get a payback of a few thousand rand , and their roadside service they offer , i tried to explain that my existing quote is a yearly savings of more than R12000.00 he said as i dont have proof of no claim this is the reason... I have never had an accident, been driving for 30 years... had company insurance but not on my name .... plus no pay out as promised..... so i realised that they Advertise hoping people will go directly to them without contacting anybody else.
