Accepting e-mail correspondence

While I am reasonably happy with the insurance service Outsurance offers, it really frustrates me that Outsurance do not allow e-mail correspondence. I like to send written instructions so I have a record of when I sent it and what I said. I also try and take care of my personal matters outside of normal working hours. They may have phone recording systems, but their customers do not. I do not want to have start recording my calls.
