Towards the end of 2015 I was driving on the N3 when a piece of the propshaft of a truck flew off and damaged my car. Outsurance processed the claim and I paid my excess to get the vehicle repaired. I then got a call from Matlhatsi Hooper from the Outsurance legal department to ask for details and photos of the accident so that Outsurance could try to claim the money from the truck company responsible. I sent her all the details and we had some correspondence over the following few weeks. When we last spoke she said she was having difficulty getting the company to pay as they said they had no record of the accident. With the photos I took she said she would keep pushing them and would not give up. That is exactly what she did! Today she called me to say that she had managed to recover the full amount from the company and that she was about to send me an eft to refund the full excess that I had paid. Well done for your determination and tenacity Matlhatsi!!! You have a top class employee there Outsurance.
