A day "NOT" to remember........or a day "TO" remember???????

<p>You should wonder why the title of my story has a double meaning ?please allow me to tell .....everything happened so fast ...cellphone ringing ...my dear dad on the other side informing us about an accident at the mall entrance....us arriving on the scene ...dads car a wreck ...airbags popped ...windscreen damaged...right suspension hanging....not a nice scene to arrive at .....but there my dad is standing ...just in need of a glass of sugarwater ...no major injuries ....towing services on the scene talking to Outsurance to obtain authorization to clear the accident- i overheard the conversation between the guys on the scene .....this car is a definate write off!!!! ......for sure NOT a day to remember !!! ..i already invisaged whats gonna happen from here....insurance is going to take their time ...its the beginning of the year and everybody is on as slow start...dad wont have a car ....nothing will be finalised quick ....assessors have piles of claims to work through ....i stop at the pharmacy to get headache tablets in advance.......luckily dad taught me never say never and miracles do happen .....the next morning after the accident i received a call from Dawid Smit , the assessor , from Outsurance , informing me that he was in Welkom ready to assist with dads claim ....within minutes he was taking photos at the accident scene and following us to dads house for an interview ....informing him of all the do's and donts and procedure of the claim......,his jovial personality and sense of humour broke the ice and the whole family was laughing and chatting and him and dad worked through the claim questions in no time......the same afternoon we were informed that dads beloved car would indeed be written off ......but Dawid told us that the claim would be finalised early the next week......we received a call today ...a week after the accident ...... Dawid is a man of his word ...surely one of the best assets Outsurance owns... The claim was finalised ....dad had to buy a new car ........luckily he didnt need my headache pills .....outsurance paid his car that was written off ...........now you'll understand the title of my story ...it turned out to be a day "TO" remember ...thanx Dawid and Outsurance .....you rock !!!!</p>
