500/1500 promotion not all it seems to be

DO NOT WASTE TIME with the 500/1500 promotion. It is all ****! This is evident from the review I read and also my personal experience.

Details as follows: Outsurance contacted me ( YES THEY CONTACTED ME) in regards to some massive individual deal that apparently only i qualify for( I know right ha ha ) I usually put the phone down immediately for any type of sales call but I decided to proceed with this one. They assured me that they can beat my current car insurance quote which I hold for more than 3 years claim free with another insurer. I told them it was impossible as I have a very good insurer and policy. They said if they cannot beat it I will be entitled to the R1500. After a hour on the phone with details back and forth, it was confirmed that they CANNOT beat my current car insurance. I asked for the link for the R1500. The consultant said she would send straight away. After couple hours nothing, i then sent a call back and they called with a new consultant. I explained I never received the link for the promotion and he said ok he will send a link straight away. Guess what? Still nothing. The original consultant then calls back as I mentioned i have home contents I want quoted on and I informed her that I still never got the link after hours of waiting, she then proceeds to say that there is nothing she can do and needs to transfer me to another department to wait on the line longer( as if I have nothing else to do) It is very clear from my experience that there is no intention from outsurance to honour the promotion and instead it seems there is great effort given to inconvenience the customer as much as possible so that they either forget about the promotion or just give up all together. Thanks to this horrible experience I will be reconsidering my wife’s policy with outsurance and I will definitely be reconsidering my other assets I have insured at outsurance. I do not see myself doing business this way.
