3rd Party Claim Dispute and Poor Communication

On Friday the 13th I was knocked from the back at a traffic light by Mr Singh (Outsurance Client) he insisted that I should not call the police and said that he will fix the my car. But i did the right thing and called the police and they took reports. I reported the matter to my insurance and was advised to claim directly from the Mr Singh's insurance. I did all what I was asked bu Outsurance, submitted all documentation even incurred additional expenses while trying to get this resolved. After emails and going back and forth with Anastasia Voges who ended up not replaying to my e-mails, I am still not assisted even today. To my suprise yesterday I received and SMS and Email with remitance advice confirming they have paid my claim, I then contacted Anastasia to check which banking details was this paid into and then she tells me that it was a system error even though the Remitance advice has my details on it. I would like to think that there is something going on here. Firstly she was adament to honour my claim, next thing she kept cutting my call when I wanted to speak to her Manager. I know Outsurance to be a very reputable insurance company but after dealing with her I can conclude that I had the wrong impression. All I need is my car to be fixed i even opted that Outsuarance can use their service providers or send me to a recommended panel beater even send an assessor if need be to asses the car. I have lost patience at this point as I have done all that was requested of me but i am being thrown from pillar to post. Can some at a higher level than Annastasia resolve or contact me to discuss this or make me understand why my claim is disbuted given all that was requested was submitted. And on top of that I get an email and sms comfirming payment to me yet payment was not done to me.

Hello Itumeleng

We are very sorry about the disappointing service experience!

Our legal liability claims manager, Jeanine contacted you. She discussed the merits of the claim and advised you to rather submit a claim on your own policy, as both versions are plausible.

Should you however be able to prove your version of how the accident occurred, we will review the merits.

Regards

Dinky

My problem is not resolved, Outsurance is not sticking to the truth, and you are shifting the blame. It is clear that you just like any other insurance company. I have done all I was asked but Outsurance still disputed my claim. What makes things worse is that you paid your client’s claim while the Accident report clearly stated that you client did not even have a Driver’s License and he was issued with a fine on the spot. I feel sad for the other lady that was driving a Toyota Corolla that was also knocked by your client as her car was more damaged than mine. The sad thing is that when I speak to your client even to this day he admits guilt but insist there was not enough damage, questions is why did he claim if there was no impact? I have taken Pictures at the scene and after the scene, His car is even stronger than our cars as it is an old model yet he made Outsurance to believe that my car was not damaged. It is definitely such things that make people to think otherwise about your business really. You go out of your way to make the possible look impossible. Word of mouth is more powerful than any other form of advertising, with such treatment one has no option but to use platforms like social media and so on to express the level of disappointment and unprofessionalism experienced from Outsurance in this regard. I will not let this one rest. I will take legal action against your client until he gets to pay for his lies. I just feel said for other lady as I am sure she may not be able to contest this. I hope this only happened to me and no one else will experience the same, as this are some of the things that will make you lose new clients and negative talks about your business. Just be careful of how you deal with these matters as they play a crucial role on your brand as a whole. I have even given options just so you can sort out my car that was damaged by your client but none of that was considered. To Annastacia Voges and Jeanine du Toit keep giving people that kind of services and watch will happen to Outsurance. It may seem like one incident to you but at times it takes one incident to ruin business. I am still not satisfied with the manner that my case was handled but if it gives you commission then keep doing it and see what it does to your brand. I am still sad, angry and will follow this until my car is fixed.
