3rd party claim

Appalling service for 3rd party claim On 23 June, a client of outsurance caused an accident in which my husband was involved. She made a u-turn infront of my husband. On the scene the admitted in front of myself, husband and her husband that she caused the accident. That same month their claim was settled and the car was written off and an amount of R5000 was paid out to the policy holder. Last week after following up once again on our 3rd party claim with Mohale, he said our claim was rejected due to conflicting affidavits given, where in at first the lady that caused the accident said that she did not cause the accident - that I found out from outsurance. I contacted the guilty party and confronted her about the false affidavit and she admitted she made a mistake. She then made a new affidavit in which she admitted that the accident was her fault, new affidavit was sent to outsurance. What frustrates me from outsurance is the fact that they dont follow up on 3rd party claims, and dont investigate thoroughly, they go on what the policy holder says and to hell with the rest. Almost 4 months later, we are still stuck without a car, because it is standing at the towing company and we are awaiting repairs do be done and for outsurance to pay the towing fees. Due to the fact that there is no follow up on claims, taking policy holders false affidavit as true, we have to decided to take civil action against the policy holder. What really bothers me is the fact that they dont care that it is a 64 year old ladies car, that has to rely on others to get her to work and back. DISGUSTING OUTSURANCE, I WILL NEVER GET INSURANCE FROM YOU.
