15% relief for May

It is deceiving as we pay in advance for our insurance. So our payment made to you at the end of April is for May. Payment end of May would be for June. You say we will pay 15% less for our insurance in May, which is when we actually pay in May albeit for May or June premiums. So those who pay their debit order later only on the 1st instead of 25th like in most cases, they would have received the discount because their payment was 1 May and they paying for May premium and the rest that pay earlier get the discount at the end of the next month (may) which is for June premium. It should have been made more clear to avoid any misunderstanding.

Hi Candice

We completely understand how you feel and sincerely apologise for the confusion from our communication.

Our intention was certainly not to mislead or deceive our clients. The discounted premium is based on the collection date not the transaction date. We app**** the 15% discount to come off automatically on all vehicle premiums due from 1 May 2020 up to and including 31 May 2020.

This means you will only notice the discount on your next collection in the month of May. We are very sorry for any inconvenience as a result.

Regards
OUTsurance
