Taken for a ride

I purchased a camping table at Outdoor Warehouse Centurion that was on special for R750. The service that we got was great and Niki went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted (he even ordered the table from another store). I set the table up a couple of days later on a camping weekend, only to find that there were several dents in the table top and storage unit. Upon taking it back for replacement, I was informed that the table set was not 'on sale' as the price tag says or as we were told, but rather 'reduced' due to damage to all the units. I completely understand that buying this unit with that knowledge would lead to the reduction in price, however, I would have definitely though twice about buying it in the first place if I knew this was the case. When asked, the manager and salesperson refused further discount in order to keep the unit as I was not informed of this. I'm now stuck with a R750 voucher and without the table I was looking for.
